Beginning
My wife will kill me when she finds out I’ve started a blog.
“That’s for young people and prisoners,” she’ll say.
But I’m told that I should keep a record of my progress or lack thereof, so here goes.
I’ll be running the NYC Marathon on Nov. 2 of this year. This will be my first marathon, although I have run 4 half marathons and finished with fairly respectable times. I know just enough to either not hurt myself or injure myself badly. Knock on wood, so far so good. ;-)
I plan on following Hal Higdon’s Novice 1 Marathon Training Schedule. The one thing I’m concerned about is that I’ve never been one to run on consecutive days. I feel like my body rebounds better when I give it a day of rest.
Well, according to the 18 week schedule, week 1 doesn’t start until June 29. So I’m off to Farrell’s for a container. ;-)

Does this mean you will be a puss at camp this summer and be drinking water instead of frosty adult beverages?
F that! There’s a time and a place and camp is the place!
while i support the marathon training, and understand the logic behind the blogging, i will still make fun of you mercilessly.
cool pics of the air show, though. wish i could have seen that. (without training for a marathon, that is.)
